How do I play?
Each journey deals you 40 tiles, one at a time. Tap the tile in the tray to turn it, then tap a glowing spot beside your island to preview it and tap again to place it. You can also drag it there. Matching edges earn points and grow your roads, forests, lakes and villages. A tile never has to match, so you can't get stuck.
I placed a tile in the wrong spot.
Tap Undo to take back your last placement. You get one step back, and the points it earned are returned.
Do I lose my journey if I close the app?
No. Honin saves after every turn. Choose Continue Journey on the title screen to pick up where you left off.
How do I sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on both devices, and make sure iCloud Sync is on in Honin's Settings › iCloud. Your progress, unlocks, achievements and The Loom sync. Settings and an unfinished journey stay on each device.
My saved worlds or progress are missing.
Check that you're signed in to iCloud and that iCloud Sync is on in Honin's Settings, then give it a moment on a good connection. If you deleted Honin with iCloud Sync off, the data was only on that device and can't be recovered.
Achievements aren't showing in Game Center.
Make sure you're signed in under the iOS Settings app › Game Center. Honin reports achievements and scores automatically once you're signed in, and catches up on any earned while you were offline.
Can I turn the sound down or off?
Yes. Honin's Settings has a sound switch plus separate levels for effects, music and ambience. Honin's sound also mixes with music from other apps.
Does Honin collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, analytics or tracking. Read the privacy policy for the details.
